Min Qi Wang, Ph.D., is a professor at School of Public Health, University of Maryland College Park. He has been involved in numerous Web development and data analysis projects. He has received more than 50 research grants as principal investigator or co-investigator, and has taught computer programming, research methods, and statistics at three universities (Penn State University, University of Alabama, and University of Maryland). In 2008, he was awarded a contract by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH) to develop the Maryland Environmental Public Health Tracking Network (EPHTN) which he led an IT team to develop the architecture, database, web programming, GIS, and the geospatial analysis.
