Her research concerns information and communication technologies from an information system security perspective. She has developed a particular emphasis on e-health tools and their contribution to work-flow methodologies in the health sector.

Dr Linda Dawson is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Information Technology at Monash University, Melbourne. She is also Director of the Mobile Health Research Group. She received her PhD in 2002 from Monash University where she has been teaching e-business, research methods and systems development units since 2000.
